Even though this kit comes with two 120mm fans you can hook up to four fans to the controller unit. It is also prepared for Corsair Link Digital which is a device you can buy to monitor to see how well everything is running. It displays pump speed, coolant temps etc.
The core itself is covered with a plastic cover to prevent damage to it as scratches and dents can lower the performance due to lower heat transfer.
When it comes to the radiator it can fit two 120 mm fans and it’s about 2,5cm thick so it will easily fit in the top of your case if its prepared for a radiator of this size.
The tubing is mounted on the radiator without any safety clamps, the tubing material is stiff though so it doesn’t seem likely that the tubing would come off.
First step when mounting this unit is to put on the backplate, screw on the stands to the backplate and you are ready for the next step.
The stands are first screwed into the backplate, and then you mount the heatsink itself, and finally mount it on the stands with thumbscrews.
