Introduction
Today we are taking a look at a notebook cooler which is from CoolerMaster. Todays notebooks\laptops have a tendency of heating up very easily, especially during the summer due to the fast, yet heat producing hardware in them. CoolerMaster sent us their NotePal Cooler which has a nice looking aluminum finish and it’s equipped with two sixty millimeter fans. This is what we have on our test bench tonight, so if you’re on the market for something to easily cool your laptop with stay extra tuned for this informative review!

The NotePal came extremely well packed in a nice looking box that has a handle included on it also for convenience. On the front of the box they’ve printed a picture of the cooler itself so you can get a quick look at it before purchasing. On the back on the otherhand you find a lot of features and specifications, also a picture of a laptop in action on top of the cooler for a visual aid.

As I said before the aluminum finish on this cooler looks very nice and it tilts your laptop up a bit so your hands can kind of rest when typing. Two 60 fans are well mounted so they cool of the battery pack and the hottest part of the laptop. The USB cable is what you connect to the laptop to power this device up.

On the back of the unit you will find a On/Off button and two USB ports where one is taken by the cable that you connect to the computer. On the right picture you see my Acer Laptop in action with this unit, when I booted this up I started listening after a annoying fan noise but it kind of shocked me that these fans are not loud at all, I feel that the fans in the laptop actually make more noise than the unit.

I said before that this tilts up a bit and it does feel nice to type on the keyboard even though its tilted. This is also so the fans get alot of fresh cool air and can cool the laptop down a bit.
Testing:
So how do you test this product then?! Well what I did was ran the laptop with this active to see how often the fans turned on compared to using it without this cooling device. I also felt the laptop after usage to see the heat difference on the case. I can really say that this product does cool the laptop down a bit, maybe not anything extreme but the extra cooling is good for todays fast laptops.
Conclusion:
This is a cool product that really does work also by cooling your laptop down a little bit and creating more stability and longer lifetime for your laptop. It was well packed and it’s fairly quiet also, the only thing I can “complain” about is that it’s not available in a black color to match the laptops. It’s a simple product but it still saves you money in the long run with most likely a longer lifetime on the laptop. Overall we give this product 5 out of 5 and our recommendations for a simple product that saves you money in the long run and gives you laptop more stability especially now during the hot summer.
