Coolermaster is probably a manufacturer most everyone of us knows. They sent us their newest midsized tower case called HAF XM. It belongs to the HAF (High airflow) -series being the newest generation of it. Let’s see how well it performs and what it has to offer!

Let’s first take a look how the cases front section looks.  The front panel is made from meshed steel and has a Coolermaster logo in the bottom section. About in the middle there is a X-dock for two hard disks and there is three slots for 5.25″ devices. Front panel connectors are located in the upper section of the panel. The case is colored all in black.

Side panel of the case has a space for two 140mm fans. You could also place a water cooling heatsink there. The side panel is opened using a lever in the upper section of the panel. Remember that the panel is also secured using two thumbscrews.

On top of the case there are three buttons. Powerbutton is the one in the middle while the right side button is reset. On the left side there”s  a button for fanlights which is a nice feature as you can turn off the lights within the case if they annoy you.
