Do they perform so much better than lower wattage Psu�s do? These are a few questions we are going to look into today. We got Coolermasters latest M1000 powersupply to test and we are today going to compare it vs a few very well performing Psu�s with a lower wattage than this one to see if there is any difference. They sent us a sample of their new ZM460-APS power supply that is supposed to be extremely quiet and still performs well. Alot of people don't think it matters what power supply you have but it's actually the opposite, with the new video cards and processors out on the market they demand more power than a generic power supply can push out. We recieved a sample of their latest creation named M620 which is a 620W powersupply as the name states. I have 400W PSU with a 120 mm blue led fan on the bottom so it will be interesting to see how this can perform against some competitors. We have brands such as Vantec, Zalman, and Antec that are the best ones I have seen and today we are having a look at one of these brands. Vantec is on our testbench and to be more exact it's the Ion 400W which seems to be a really nice product. It's has dual fans but is supposed to still be really very quiet.
