We ran the these test comparing vs a Samsung R720 laptop to give you an idea of the performance.
Sisoft Sandra 2009, Cpu Arithmetic:
This test shows how the CPIU handles various instructions. We can here see that the Samsung is faster with its Core2Duo T6400 cpu vs the Core2Duo Su7300 that is in the Asus.
Sisoft Sandra 2009, Cpu Multimedia:
This test shows how the cpu handles multimedia instructions and data. The higher number the better is what counts in this test and the cpu in the Asus actually has a higher bandwidth but falls behind when it comes to speed.
Sisoft Sandra 2009, Physical Drive:
This test on the other hand shows how the harddrive in the computer compares vs each other. Here we see that the harddrive in the Asus is actually faster than the one in the Samsung since the drive index should be as high as possible while the access time should be as low as possible.
