This unit is quite amazing, it is way more silent than my normal 5.25 Blu ray drive that I got 6 months ago. Of course the technology moves forward but an external drive usually makes alot more noise than an interal one.
The drive is easy to use and all you need is two empty USB ports to run and power this unit, this makes it a good choice for laptop owners also that can take it with them during travels. It is very light weight and compact so it’s easy to carry around.
Overall the quality feels great and the leg is sturdy and will keep the drive in place, I also liked the software bundle that was included as it covers most of the software you will need.
The LED looks cool in my eyes but it is also a nice function that it can be turned of with the software since alot of people dislike LED’s. Overall though I have nothing to complain about and I can’t do anything more than recommend this unit for everyone thinking of getting a Blu-ray Combo drive for the computer.
