Looking at the back ports we can see that there is a combined Ps/2 port for a mouse or keyboard if you still have one or the other with the now old Ps/2 port. You will also get several USB ports, SPDIF, LAN, Firewire and even a E-sata port.
I think in the end I can count the USB ports to eight and two LAN ports along with build onboard surround sound.

Testing:
Asus P6T Deluxe Motherboard
Intel Core i7 965 Extreme CPU
Asus 9800GX2 Matrix
Patriot Dual Channel 2GB DDR2 Kit
Coolermaster M700 PSU
Gskill SSD 64 GB SATA2 HDD

Testing was done with the following software, Pcmark Vantage, Winrar, Sisoft Sandra 2009, Cinebench and Superpi. We compared this board vs the Intel DX58SO motherboard.

Sisoft Sandra 2009, Cpu Arithmetic:
Asus P6T Deluxe Motherboard
Looking at the Cpu Arithmetic benchmark we can see that there is a small difference, the Asus board is actually a bit slower than the Intel board.

Sisoft Sandra 2009, Cpu Multimedia:
Asus P6T Deluxe Motherboard
In the multimedia test we can see how the processor handles multimedia operations. In this test the Asus board is actually faster. The Intel board is actually one of the pre release boards that we got to use in our Core i7 965 review so the Asus board should perform a bit better in my eyes.
