Testing the Asus EN8800GTS 320Mb Videocard

Testing:

Intel Extreme X6800 processor
Msi P964 Neo motherboard
Corsair Dominator 8888 DDR2 Ram
Sapphire X300 videocard
Zalman 400W PSU
Maxtor 80GB IDE ATA133

We used the following software for benchmarking, 3dmark2005, 3dmark2006, Call of Duty 2, Battlefield 2, X3 Reunion Demo. Ambient temperature during temperature testing was 21 degrees celsius.

Call of Duty 2:

While Call of Duty 2 does not require that much from your videocard but it’s still a good choice to benchmark with as it’s a popular game. This graph shows the difference between the cards in our first game benchmark, let’s check out how it performs in Battlefield 2.

Battlefield 2:

In BF2 the difference between the Asus card and the MSI is not as big as in the previous tests.

X3 Reunion Demo:

In X3 Reunion the Asus card actually performs worse than the MSI card, which might be a driver issue as its an ATI and Nvidia card we are talking about.
