First look at the Freezer 13 Pro:
This mega-sized CPU cooler measuring 134(L) x 96(W) x 159 (H) mm weights 902 g with fans pre-installed, which is not too much for the motherboard to bear.
The Arctic heat-sink is constructed around four 8 mm U-shaped copper heat-pipes combined with 47 Aluminium fins 0.5 mm thick. The 4 heat-pipes are soldered to the bottom copper base plate and extend from the base right through the full length of the fins. Each aluminum fin measures 0.5 mm thick and is spaced 2 mm from the next.
The base is not mirror finished but flat and measures 31,5 x 38 mm.
The aluminum fins have a quilted pattern and are formed in square shape with the ‘V’ cutout on one side.
The Freezer 13 Pro is equipped with a white 9-bladed side mounted 120 mm PWM controlled fan, that rotates at speeds of 300-1350 RPM, exhausting air through an array of aluminum fins.
Declared air flow is 49.7 CFM / 96.8 m3/h. Innovative Cross Blow technology utilizes a 50 mm blower placed right above the base which cools the components surrounding the CPU. Its declared speed is 700-2700 RPM, PWM.
The 120 mm cpu fan is secured via plastic frame which secure the fan to the cooler tower via four brackets. At the top of the fan frame you can find the Freezer 13 Pro logo, Arctic logo and web-address. The 50 mm blower is fixed at the base of the cooler under CPU tower. Both fans draw power from common 3-pin motherboard fan header.
Installing this cpu cooler won’t take you long and you even won’t have to remove motherboard from the PC case. The mounting system is realised via push pins and retention module, the plastic frame offers stability to sustain the heavy weight of the CPU cooler.
