If you’re an avid computer enthusiast you probably have heard of Arctic Cooling as they are one of the top pc component companies around. They specialize in CPU, GPU, and PC cooling that is extremely functional and extremely quiet. Using that experience they have now started a new line of ear phones as part of their Arctic Sound unit.

Today we will have a look one of their higher end units, the Arctic Sound E352. But before we get started here is a little more info about the company:

As you can see from the picture you get an awesome carrying case which protects the earphones and prevents cord tanglement when not in use. You also get 3 different size silicon inserts, a cable clip to clip the cable to your shirt, and an instruction guide that is pretty in depth and in quite a number of languages.

The E352 is one the companies’ higher end models that have some unique features and some pretty good specifications as listed below:

The Product:
From the specifications we can tell that the drivers of the units have a really good frequency response and have a really good 104 dB/mW sensitivity for the small size. After I removed the earphones the first thing I noticed was how heavy they were for their size and I immediately noticed that the units chassis was indeed made of wood which should warm the sound up considerably.
The construction of the earphones was very high and felt very solid with cable strain reliefs on the base of each driver unit and about a 4 ½ cable. The included carrying case was very solid and has a nice zipper for keeping it closed when storing your earphones. The included silicon inserts should cover just all ear canal sizes and using the right one is essential for good fit and proper sound transmission. I used the medium ones that came installed but changing them takes only a matter of seconds and was very easy to do.
The chassis of the ear bud itself is made of wood which I really think helps the overall performance of earphones by adding some warmth to the sound field.
