In this test the benchmarks tests how the CPU handles multimedia instructions. The higher results (Mpix/s) the better us what counts in this test.

This test shows how well the different cpu cores can handle functions. The bandwidth should be as high as possible while the latency should be as low as possible.
The two “missing” cores on the 980 really lowers the performance a tad as we can see.
Pcmark 7:
When it comes to the new Pcmark 7 we can see some more odd results, in total score the 980 actually gets more points than the 1090T with two more cores.
